About the Project
The Association "Creative Center – Birth House of Zlatyu Boyadzhiev" unites local business representatives, the municipal administration, the community center in Brezovo, and volunteers with a shared vision for developing local tourism and culture. We founded the association to revive the painter's birthplace, turning it into a place to preserve and promote traditions, inspire creativity, and welcome both locals and visitors to unwind and enrich their cultural experience — just as Boyadzhiev used to return to Brezovo for inspiration.
About the House
Zlatyu Boyadzhiev's birth house is located in Brezovo, near Plovdiv. It hosts a small exhibition of reproductions titled "Brezovo through the eyes of Zlatyu Boyadzhiev." The house is privately owned but open to all who wish to visit. Entry is free with prior booking by phone or email.
About the Artist
Zlatyu Boyadzhiev spent his life overcoming the obstacles that fate placed in front of his talent. His name is synonymous with extraordinary persistence crowned by a victory of spirit, creativity, and Bulgarian genius. — Dimitar Avramov
